YME Members explored the rocky shore community at Jaws Beach last saturday as they learned about the different zones and some of the organisms that live within each zone. For some member it was their first experience in the rocky shores. Our group exploration brought students face to face with sea cucumbers, damsel fish, chitens, solder crabs, sea urchins, starfish, and batophera algea. Students also participated in a practice swim test in preparation for the PADI Open Water Certification that will begin next month.
